The Laugh Button Records is excited to announce its next album release and it comes from Maddy Smith! Her debut EP Another Sexless Night In Queens will hit stores on February 22nd.
The EP is a playful melting pot of material from Maddy’s life in Queens and upbringing in Buffalo: Upstate life is full of drinking, big city living shouldn’t necessarily be celebrated, and guest what… sometimes relationships are just convenient! What’s clear from the set, recorded at Zanies in Nashville, is that Maddy’s lightning-fast delivery and down-the-middle perspective is a refreshing point-of-view built both for TikTok and IRL.
“It was a freaking blast performing at Zanies and taping the set for The Laugh Button Records,” says Maddy. “Nashville is awesome and the crowd was fantastic… Such a warm place to record my first EP. Excited for everyone to hear this bad boy!!”
Originally from Buffalo Maddy Smith is steadily making her mark on the male-dominated NYC stand-up scene. Joking from the center, she roasts anything or anyone both from the stage and on her girls-only podcast That Time of The WEEK. Maddy gained national notoriety for skewering folks as a cast member of MTV’s Wild N Out for four seasons.
