The National Comedy Center, dedicated to the preservation of all things comedy, has been nominated by USA Today as the Best New Museum.
The Center, which opened in 2018, is home to hundreds of artifacts from comedy legends such as Jerry Lewis, The Marx Brothers, George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, Andy Kaufman, Joan Rivers, Jonathan Winters and Lucille Ball, along with more modern artifacts from The Office, Weird Al Yankovic, The Hangover, 30 Rock, and Mean Girls . Some of the guests of the Comedy Center have included Lily Tomlin, Dan Aykroyd, Lewis Black, Amy Schumer, John Mulaney, The Smothers Brothers, Sebastian Maniscalco, and W. Kamau Bell, among many others.
Based in Jamestown, NY, The National Comedy Center is among 20 new museum exhibits up for the title of Best New Museum by USA Today. Voting can be done every day, once a day, until February 17th at noon ET. Voting can be done here.
