The Nightman Cometh…to a theater near you

August 10, 2009      Matt      Television, Tour Dates

The cast of the ridiculously funny FX TV show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are taking their act on the road. The gang will be performing Charlie’s musical “The Nightman Cometh” live on stage at a series of performances scheduled around the premiere of the new season of the show.

“The Nightman Cometh” was the episode that wrapped the show last season, depicting the cast acting out a musical compiled of music Charlie wrote while, mostly under the spraypaint-induced influence. The songs and episode went viral with fans performing the song in different variations online. It even caught the attention of such bands like Of Montreal .

As if it wasn’t enough to hear a rousing audience sing “Dayman! Fighter Of The Night Man” in unison, the cast will also stick around for a Q&A session after their performance and screening of the new episode of the show, which comes back on the air this Fall.

Sounds like its time to put on your Green Man costume and pay the troll toll and get some tickets.
