Some bad news for fans of The Office. On January 1st, The Office is officially leaving Netflix. The good news? It’s simply switching services and heading over to Peacock.
The deal with Peacock will include access to all 201 episodes, as well as bonus features such as deleted scenes. Plus, much like the Saturday Night Live channel on the streamer, Peacock is also introducing the channel The Office Zen. Miss the sounds of the office while working from home? They’ve got you covered 24/7.
The biggest change, however, is that only the first two seasons will be available for free through the app. Seasons three through nine, however, will only be available to those with a paid prescription. This move is pretty surprising, but at the end of the day, it does serve as a good incentive to get people to sign up for the paid subscription.
Subscriptions start at $4.99 a month with ads or $9.99 a month without ads.
