Weird” Al Yankovic undisputedly one of the most successful comedic songwriters in the history of the platform. So it shouldn’t be too surprising that he’d be the subject of a new biopic. However, it also shouldn’t be too surprising that judging by the trailer, the film will have a tongue-in-cheek bent to it.

Weird: The Story of Al Yankovic follows the “untold true story” of Weird Al. Daniel Radcliffe stars in the film as Al, which save for the height difference between the subject and the actor, seems like a pretty cool fit. We also get a brief glimpse of Rainn Wilson as Dr. Demento, which is some more inspired casting.

The film will hit Roku’s streaming platform in the fall. And we honestly couldn’t be more excited to see it!
