It’s been over a year since Jimmy Fallon last did The Tonight Show in studio 6B with an audience. Ever since returning to 30 Rock last summer, he’s been filming across the hall in studio 6A. But last night, Fallon returned to his familiar set, which has been given a slight makeover. And he finally got to do it with an audience.
While the crowd was small and socially distanced, with Fallon joking “I’ve never been so excited to do a show for 58 people in my life”, you could definitely feel their excitement and enthusiasm. It’s great to hear a late night show with a live (non Zoom) crowd again. We hope that soon other shows can follow suit and we can have things closer to being back to normal relatively soon!
