The trailer for Issa Rae’s new show, “Rap Sh!t” is here

Last year, HBO’s hit series Insecure wrapped up after five seasons. Issa Rae created and starred in the series, which was sort of a breakout hit for her. Well, now she’s back with another new series, however this time she’s staying behind the camera.

Rap Sh!t – which was created by Rae – follows “two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna (Aida Osman) and Mia (KaMillion), who reunite to form a rap group.”

Rap Sh!t hits HBO Max on July 21st.
