This Week in Comedy: Beavis and Butt-Head return to “Do the Universe”

June 20, 2022      Andrew Buss      News, This Week In Comedy

This Week in Comedy: Beavis and Butt-Head are back for an all new adventure in their new film on Paramount+. In Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe, everyone’s favorite animated 90’s duo travel to space and even encounter an alternative reality version of themselves. This is all leading up to the forthcoming Paramount+ reboot that’s taking place later this year.

Also this week in comedy, Maya Rudolph has a new series on Apple TV+ with Loot. In Loot, ”after divorcing her husband of 20 years, Molly Novak must figure out what to do with her $87 billion settlement. She decides to reengage with her charitable foundation and reconnect with the real world—finding herself along the way.”

And finally, get ready to step into the Chicago kitchen with The Bear. The new FX series – which was shot all on location – “is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.”
