This Week in Comedy: both Jim Jefferies and “Black Jesus” return

Adult Swim made us all take notice when they said Black Jesus was going to return, and in like 7 days. Which was great news to us all since season 2 of the show last aired back in 2015. That long of a time between seasons isn’t always the best sign that a show will return. But nevertheless, here we are 4 years later. Some things have changed (Corey Holcomb has departed and Charlie Murphy’s unfortunate passing) and some things have not like we get more antics by watching a modern day Jesus living his life in Compton, CA with a daily mission to spread love and kindness. The long-awaited season 3 of Black Jesus premieres on Adult Swim Tuesday.
Also this week Jim Jefferies returns for a fall season of The Jim Jefferies Show and the comedian host is all over the world this season. Taping many remote pieces all around the globe as Jefferies toured for his stand-up tour. A teaser of the new season shows us just where Jefferies ended up.
