This week in comedy: Jerry Seinfeld is back. Back in 2017, when Netflix released Jerry Before Seinfeld, it was announced that Seinfeld had signed a two special deal with Netflix. Well, now we finally get to see that second special. Also of note, this is his first special featuring brand new material since 1987’s Stand Up Confidential, as his previous two specials, Jerry Before Seinfeld and I’m Telling You For The Last Time, featured old material of his. Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours to Kill drops on Tuesday.
Also this week in comedy, Reno 911! is back. In this age of revivals and reboots, this is one we can definitely get behind, especially given some of the tensions that exist between law enforcement and civilians. We can’t wait to see how literally the last bunch of officers you’d ever want helping you will be adapting to 2020. Episodes of Reno 911! are available now on Quibi.
Plus, Jimmy O. Yang has his first stand-up special on Amazon Prime, Dead To Me is back for season 2, and comedians all come together for the Feeding America Comedy Festival on NBC.
