This Week in Comedy: the “South ParQ” gang gets their vaccine
March 8, 2021 Andrew Buss This Week In Comedy
This week in comedy: The vaccines have come to South ParQ. And judging by the trailer for the special, we see Cartman confronted for not keeping his distance, the kids being asked to bring as many vaccines as possible to the school, and Butters joining QAnon. The special airs Wednesday March 10th at 8 PM ET.
Also this week, the Grammy Awards are taking place this Sunday. Hosted by Trevor Noah, there’s a pretty big list of comics up for awards including Jerry Seinfeld, Tiffany Haddish, Patton Oswalt, Bill Burr, and Jim Gaffigan. That’s some pretty stiff competition right there, so we’re looking forward to seeing who will be going home with the gold.
And finally, there’s a new coming-of-age story coming to HBO Max. Produced by Lena Dunham, Generation follows “a group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.” The show debuts on HBO Max on Thursday.
