Tracy Morgan on Fallon, “Donald Trump is leading in the polls, I’m going back”

Tracy Morgan appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night reuniting him with his old Saturday Night Live classmate, and he was back to his old self. Morgan took the opportunity to discuss everything he missed while he was in a coma. First he congratulated Fallon on beating Letterman in the ratings. Fallon then explained how weird it must be to have had all of this stuff happen while he was in a coma. “Donald Trump is leading in the polls, I’m going back” said Morgan. In reference to the new Star Wars film he commented, “One black dude in the whole galaxy? I’m pissed off man!” He continued on, “I’m gonna tell you something man, Chewbacca is not good man. He’s behind in his child support payments right now.” Fallon tried to calm him down but to no avail. There were some other topics he wanted to get off his chest including a solid Rocky Balboa rant, new perceptions of the Godfather, and even pitches a show about classic movies for Sirius Radio.

In other news, Tracy Morgan’s FX show is also back on track. In fact, Jordan Peele (Key & Peele) has signed on to pen the pilot alongside John Carcieri of Eastbound & Down. The comedy will follows the story of a criminal who has been released from prison after 15 years. As he tries to reintegrate himself back into society, he struggles with the modern world of political correctness and the internet. We can’t wait!
