Last November, it was announced that Judd Apatow, fresh off of his success with The King of Staten Island, had been tapped by Netflix to make a new film about the pandemic.
Titled The Bubble, the film was co-written by Apatow and Pam Brady and finds a group of actors all staying at a hotel when the lockdown hits, thus leaving them all to quarantine together. And last month, we learned of the star studded cast that includes Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal and Peter Serafinowicz.
And now we’ve learned of the latest casting developments that includes Vir Das, Rob Delaney, Samson Kayo, Galen Hopper, Guz Khan, Nick Kocher, Ross Lee, Harry Trevaldwyn and Danielle Vitalis.
No official release date has been announced yet. But as they’re currently filming in London right now, we hope we’ll get to see it before the year’s end.
