Watch Al Franken fill in for Jimmy Kimmel on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

August 17, 2022      Andrew Buss      News, Television

Over the course of the last year, Al Franken has begun taking up stand-up again, even embarking on a tour. Of course, the former senator of Minnesota started out as a comedian and SNL writer before going into office in 2009, so it all makes sense.

Last night, Franken guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Naturally, it didn’t take long for the political jokes to start flying in the monologue. Franken tackle everything from his “love” of Ted Cruz, the Mar-a-Lago raid, the January 6th hearings, tried to stump people by asking them to name a senator, and more.
