The other night, Amber Ruffin went on Late Night with Seth Meyers to perform a Christmas song that is appropriate for 2020. Titled Worst Christmas of Our Lives, she starts off by asking us “Do you like trash?”, before moving to singing about celebrating the holidays alone, being in denial, and not wanting to kill her aunt. Definitely some feelings there that we can all relate to right now. Hopefully the 2021 Christmas songs will be uplifting once again. But until then? This fits.
