October 5, 2020      Matt Kleinschmidt      Chris Rock, News, Saturday Night Live

Chris Rock kicked off the season 46 premiere of Saturday Night Live as the show’s host. The comedian took to the stage at studio 8H to give the first monologue of the season, the first time the show returned to the studio since COVID put us all on pause. While the show looked pretty close to its traditional broadcast but mined a lot of ‘Rona material. Rock’s monologue mostly questioned our relationships with the government and called upon us to re-negotiate it.
