On March 17th we rust with Lewis Black. Epix is set to premiere my favorite The Daily Show correspondent’s new stand-up special, In God We Rust on March 17th. It’s the first set of new material from Black since 2010’s Stark Raving Black. Black did have a release in 2011, The Prophet an album of recorded material nearly 2 decades old.
So the moral of this story is that at twice my age, Lewis Black does more work in 2 years than I’ve done in the first half of my existence on this planet. Is it a sign of my generation? Maybe? Did Black walk 10 miles to school each way, uphill as a child? Why… Wait, what? I wasn’t paying attention, I was distracted by this too-easily accessible porn and video games.
Watch the clip from the special as Black tackles the very issue of getting old.
UPDATE: Here’s another one about Valentine’s Day.
