Andy Samberg is following up his HBO sports spoof, 7 Days In Hell with another show that’s set to riff on the sport of professional cycling and the lengths people will go to compete. The film is set in 1982, during a dark and fictitious time in cycling history. Riddled with nefarious characters, that year’s competition was a hornet’s nest of moral depravity. Through the perspective of five riders, Tour De Pharmacy provides an inside look into the grim realities of the darkest event in a sport notoriously tainted by controversy.
The movie stars too many people to list, but you can see who if you watch the final seconds of the clip. Tour De Pharmacy debuts on HBO Saturday, July 8th at 10pm ET.
