HBO is continuing its trend of taking hit podcasts and turning them into TV shows, first it was 2 Dope Queens, then Pod Save America, and now the hilariously weird and funny, My Dad Wrote a Porno. If its unclear as to what the theme of the podcast is, it’s all right there in the title folks. Host Jamie Morton’s dad wrote some erotic novels under the “Belinda Blinked” moniker. Morton grabbed his two friends, James Cooper and Alice Levine and turned their readings of such graphic novels into a podcast and the rest is history.
HBO taped a live version of the show and it will air on Saturday, May 11th at 10pm ET.
