Who’s down for a Tony Clifton story!?
The story of Clifton is a pretty notorious one in the comedy community. The notorious alter-ego of Andy Kaufman has been doing his best to piss off anyone within earshot for the lat 25 years.
Last May, Clifton moseyed on out to The Comedy Store to record a concert film, Tony Clifton: Live On The Sunset Strip.
It just so happens that last May before the kickoff of the performance, Irene Mcgee headed on out to The Comedy Store and sat down for an interview with Clifton and the Cliftonettes for us. This is just as good a time as any for us revisit the interview.
