Adam Sandler is back with his new movie Blended. The new movie stars Sandler and Drew Barrymore, but it looks like he’s populated the film with a bunch of smaller roles taken by big names such as Terry Crews, Joel McHale, Kevin Nealon, and even Dan Patrick.
The picture centers around a couple who went on a miserable blind date but, due to crazy circumstances, end up in Africa with their children from previous marriages. It looks to be a fun film with maybe even some good values buried under all that childish humor. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who will say this doesn’t look good, but I can’t think of a time I saw a Adam Sandler flick and didn’t laugh, so count me in. I’m excited to see it. The last time Sandler and Barrymore teamed up, for 2004’s 50 First Dates, the film was a hit, grossing $120 million. Also joining the reunion is director Frank Coraci, who directed the duo in The Wedding Singer.
