Animated comedy is the name of the game this week as 3 new animated sitcoms premieres FOX’s Allen Gregory and MTV’s Good Vibes.
The most notable being the return of Beavis And Butt-Head two of the slacker-iest of slackers with mocking pop culture at its best over a decade after the show ended its initial run. This time around they probably won’t send up the alternative music videos of the 90’s but this time take pot shots at internet clips and reality television.
Will a show so heavily rooted in a pre-internet time resonate with the new, savvy TV watcher? I’d like to say yes because given the show’s past performance, Mike Judge’s track record and the fact that teen kids, no matter what era, like themselves a good fart joke.
