This Week In Comedy: Coco Is Back, Tracy Morgan Stands Up, Kinison Returns From Hell

November 8, 2010      Ilya      News, Television

After nine of the longest months possible Conan O’Brien is finally back on late night TV! Coco’s new show, simply titled Conan, will premiere on TBS at 11pm with a slew of big celebrity guests. The first guest is a mystery entirely since they will be voted on by the audience, but Seth Rogen has been confirmed as well as Glee star Lea Michelle. Even Tom Hanks, the man who helped popularize the name “Coco” will be showing up on Tuesday. There’s even been speculation as to who will run the band since the departure of Max Weinberg.

If you’re a fan of wild screaming and rowdy comedy (and who isn’t), then don’t miss the premiere of Sam Kinison: Back From Hell on Comedy Central this Saturday at 10 pm EST. The special is going to have lot’s of great footage of Sam doing what he did best, which was partying and making us laugh, but will also feature great personal stories with the people who knew and were inspired by Sam. Look for interviews from Denis Leary, Chris Rock, Lewis Black, and others. Since it will be on cable TV the special will obviously be censored but if you want to check out full uncensored version (which I highly recommend) just wait until next Tuesday where it will be released unedited on DVD along with bonus never before seen Sam Kinison footage.

If your also looking for some filthy comedy on Saturday night, Tracy Morgan will have his first one hour HBO special Tracy Morgan: Black and Blue. It is expected to be Morgan at his dirtiest and funniest so if  you are paying for the extra channels on your cable bill you might as well use them.
