“Weird Al” Yankovic is releasing a new album July 15th

The master music parodist is coming back for his first album in 3 years. ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic has been dropping cryptic hints on Twitter that something big was coming, and on Saturday he announced via Twitter that he’s releasing a new album on July 15th.
Not much else has been said about the upcoming album so far, but Variety reports that Weird Al has asked Iggy Azalea for permission to parody one of her songs. Also, comedian Patton Oswalt announced on Twitter he had listened to the album and said that he is “in awe” of the it and that Weird Al, “… satirizes a band I’ve worshiped since the 90s & it…is…beautiful.”
This will be Weird Al’s 15th studio album. His first self-titled album was released in 1983, and his latest, Alpocalypse, was released in 2011.
