Whitney Cummings’ “2 Broke Girls,” let’s take a look
May 20, 2011 Matt Kleinschmidt News, Television, Whitney Cummings
Whitney Cummings is clearly having a phenomenal few weeks when it comes to television. She’s had her new sitcom, Whitney greenlit by NBC in addition to another new show, 2 Broke Girls being picked up by CBS.
Cummings created and wrote the show with Michael Patrick King who worked on comedies like Sex And The City and Murphy Brown ya know…little shows.
2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings, who is also known as Nora from Nick & Nora’s Infinite Playlist and apparently has tested better than any previous CBS show in history. The downside, it’s a CBS sitcom, which historically aren’t as edgy as we like in our sitcoms. But we’ll wait until it airs before we pass any more judgment.
Watch a behind the scene clip which includes some commentary by Cummings.
