Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds team up fun the trailer for “Spirited,” a retelling of “A Christmas Carol”

A Christmas Carol seems to be one of those stories that we’ve seen retold countless times over the years. Well, a new adaptation is coming to Apple TV+ this year.
Today, the trailer for the new film Spirited dropped. Starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, it is described as being a musical retelling of the Charles Dickens classic.
“Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits,” the official synopsis says. “But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his own past, present and future,” the synopsis adds. “For the first time, A Christmas Carol is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale.”
Spirited hits streaming on November 18th.
