Sean Kent is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian but he’s not yet a household name. He’s hoping with the release of his new comedy CD, Waiting For The Rapture on August 17th, that will begin to change.

Kent is the recent winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, in addition to a recent stint on Showtime’s Green Collar Comedy Special. This Texas native has also made the television rounds, appearing on NBC, CBS, E! Entertainment, Comedy Central, Fox Sports Net, VH1 and more.

Kent caught the ear of Uproar Entertainment and recorded Waiting For The Rapture which is a jolt of hilarious though sometimes painful honesty. Tackling topics of 21st Century America, such as politics, Wal-Mart, hippies, recycling, Anderson Cooper and fundamentalist Christians. His appeal is to anyone who’s ever felt themselves an outcast, rebel, or dissatisfied with the world, while trying to figure out where it all went wrong.
