What’s better than a Roast? Not much. And who better to Roast than celebrities and at the peak of their celeb-ness. And where does that happen more than at an awards show? Moresoe, the biggest awards show of them all…The Academy Awards. The 84th annual broadcast of the event is happening this weekend and with it comes the launch of www.tweetroast.com. A site where comedians and their fans can gather, share, and interact with their best Roast-style jokes in real time as the event is happening.

We’ve teamed up with our pals at LaughSpin and Fireman Creative for the inaugural launch of Tweet Roast.

The list of comedians on the digital dais includes Robert Kelly, Jim Norton, Bonnie McFarlane, Morgan Murphy, Opie & Anthony, Rich Vos, Annie Lederman, Pete Dominick, Fred Stoller, Joe DeRosa, and Wendy Liebman. All of which will offer up their commentary about the evening via Twitter.

Fans can get in on the action and leave their own comments directly on www.tweetroast.com or use the hashtag #TweetRoast. The amateur roaster with the funniest Tweets of the night will be asked to join the official dais for the next Tweet Roast.
