Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which last become the late night show of choice for comics to share their Don Rickles memories, writer and producer Judd Apatow stopped by with a particularly great one of his own – sorry, parents, cause it’s one that makes drugs sounds really cool.
Apatow recalls that, when he was a writer on Roseanne (hey, did you know Judd Apatow was a writer on Roseanne?), he and a bunch of the staff got all dressed up and went to Vegas to see the legendary Don Rickles perform. Of course, it was an amazing night, but when you’re on shrooms it was probably the most amazing night.
“And then,” concludes Apatow, “on the way home, I laughed for so long that my friends were about to take me to the hospital.” It could be worse.
