It’s 2012, I didn’t know that adult theaters still existed. Hasn’t the internet pretty much removed the need for these from existence?

Not for Fred Willard. For he was 72 year old man was just arrested on suspicion of committing a lewd act in the theater. The LA police stated that uniformed vice officers were conducting a routine investigation of the theater shortly before 9 pm Wednesday and saw Willard who was there alone, engaging in the act. What act you ask? According to TMZ he was watching the movie with his pants down with his manhood exposed and in hand.

Pants down, is one thing. I’d imagine if you are 72 years old you win minor victories daily if you manage to remember to leave the house with them on. But for the other stuff, I guess he could be applauded for being virile at that stage in life. Fred, just apologize and get a high speed internet connection to prevent this happening in the future.

UPDATE:
Even though PBS has already fired Willard from his job at Market Watchers, a spokesperson has released the following statement about the matter, “With all due respect to the individual officer, our belief is that Fred did nothing in any violation of any law.” adding, “We will be working vigorously to clear his name in this matter.”
