Hulu has confirmed that it will be the exclusive online home of Seinfeld. All nine seasons of the series will be available on Hulu starting this June. That’s a big grab for Hulu and it’s an obvious counter score to Netflix’s acquisition of Friends. Variety and Deadline are citing the deal at around $130 million to $180 million. “You could have put the DVD in, but I guess nobody wanted to do that,” Jerry Seinfeld said at an event in New York this morning. “They want to do this.” Seinfeld said that Hulu will be running the full-length NBC versions of his show, as opposed to the sped up or re-edited versions that may be airing as reruns on TV right now. “Now you will see the full thing as Larry and I cut it in the ’90s as we thought it was best,” Seinfeld said.
