“Made an album about the shit that happened last week this week. Get it for free at wyattcenac.com”
Comedian, actor, writer, and star of the new TBS series People of Earth just dropped an unannounced EP entitled One Angry Night in November. It was recorded at Littlefield in Brooklyn, home to his Monday night showcase Night Train with Wyatt Cenac.
All you have to do to get the EP is head over to his website and put in your e-mail address. Cenac states, “I won’t do anything creepy with it. Unless you think receiving a comedy album for free is creepy.”
This is Cenac’s fourth release and first since Furry Dumb Fighter which he released earlier this year. Cenac is everywhere at the moment. You can check out Night Train on Seeso, the new album of course on his site, and his brand new show, People of Earth, on TBS which had its premiere on Halloween.
People of Earth is a new original comedy about a support group for alien abductees. The show centers on skeptical journalist Ozzie Graham (Wyatt Cenac), who investigates a support group to write about the members’ supposed alien encounters. The more he digs into their oddball claims, the more he realizes there is truth in their stories and possibly even signs that point to his own alien abduction. The onetime outsider now finds himself a part of this eclectic group of misfits, all the while struggling with the idea of knowing that life could exist beyond our world.
